This is a part of a master thesis project at Faculty of Computer and Information Science at University of Ljubljana (https://www.fri.uni-lj.si/en/), where the goal is to create a deepfake face detector that utilizes human perception. Your responses help us gather insights into visual cues, confidence levels, and perceived inconsistencies. The data about human intuition from this challenge will be combined with machine learning, to build a model that learns not just from pixels, but from human perception itself. All responses are anonymous.
Pairs of images will be shown where one image is real and the other has inconsistencies typical for deepfake images. They represent the same face but one was transformed using random transformations to resemble a fake image. Your task is to select the fake image and answer some questions about your decision. The application is configured for computer so it's best if you use it for your response.
